Easter in MT

I'm getting back to our Easter post...finally! We took the train and spent Easter weekend in Montana with the Hofmans & Bjorges. We had beautiful weather on Easter Sunday and it was great to spend time outside.

Before church, CJ went on an Easter egg & basket hunt inside. As you can see in the background, the Easter bunny didn't make it too difficult for CJ to find his eggs!

We went to 9am church at Ebenezer Lutheran in McCabe - this is Grandma Marie's home church and she has gone there her whole life. We love going there, everyone is so friendly (and I believe we're related to a good share of the congregation)! After church we went downstairs for coffee and pastries.

After church we went back to Sidney for a ham dinner - everything was so tasty!

I had to take a picture of these cute table settings - Kathy found these paper cups and filled them with candy. It was easy to snack on candy all afternoon!

After dinner, we spent a good share of the day outside. This was the warmest weather we had experienced so far this year and we wanted to take advantage of it. The Easter bunny brought CJ a large bubble wand - we used up all of the bubbles that day!

CJ had quite a few adults helping him make bubbles (John's wife Judy is in this photo)

CJ had a few other Easter gifts, including a huge dinosaur coloring book and Peter Rabbit book from G&G Bjorge.

It's time to color Easter eggs!

I love this - the older guys even got into the egg project too (here Ian and Joel's cousin Jim are helping out)

The finished product, complete with funny faces!

CJ had a wonderful time playing outside in Dick & Judy's playhouse!

We enjoyed our Easter weekend with family! We missed having Dick & Judy there, but will look forward to seeing them after they get back to MT.
