1/2 Mile

Last Thursday night CJ participated in the kid's 1/2 mile run as part of the Fargo Marathon weekend. The temperatures were in the low 90s when the run started, so it was a warm evening. That didn't stop CJ though, he did a great job running all on his own. Joel got him started and met him at the finish line; I stood along the route to cheer him on. It was so fun to see him running!

He ran with the 5 & 6 year old group in the 1/2 mile run. We showed him the map of where he was going to run and saw a longer route - he is already talking about doing the bigger 1 mile run next year!
