Fire Pit

We spent yesterday afternoon at the lake doing some yard work. On Labor Day the guys took out some shrubs and there were some branches left to burn. Joel also brought out some equipment to cut down some dead tree branches. He did that and CJ & I hauled the branches to the fire pit. We were a great team!



We had a fire going in the fire pit for a good 4 hours - lots of branches to burn!



Cassie & Zoe came along too and enjoyed swimming!




It was a beautiful day at the lake and we were happy we could help get some of the work done! CJ stuck with the project the whole afternoon and was an excellent helper, so we treated him to a stop at Ole & Lena's Pizza on the way home. Yum...hotdish pizza. :-)

    Looks like mission accomplished at the lake cabin. The water looks so blue and inviting. We were regretting not riding along with you when the day turned so nice. CJ seems to like to participate in your projects too. A good helper.
