We had a family ski day our first full day in Big Sky. It was a beautiful day with nice temps, little wind, and sun - we couldn't have asked for a better ski day! We all skied green runs together - the green runs are nothing like the little hills we have around home, but we had a fun time. The runs are much longer (I believe Joel said they were around 3 miles long), so you definitely get a good workout and a chance to practice your turns going down the mountain. Even the chair lift ride is fun (it takes about 9 minutes to get to the first set of green runs)!
Joel took these photos later once he was skiing the black diamonds by himself farther up the mountain
Joel took this video when he was skiing by himself at The Bowl (I don't think I'll ever make it this high up the mountain!)
Joel & CJ went skiing together on the second day and had a nice time.
I also had a nice day on my own (went to the spa for a fire & stone massage)!
