Grandma M. made some play dough as one of CJ's Valentine's Day gifts, so last night I found a bucket of play dough toys I had purchased a few years ago.
CJ had a great time pulling the strands out of the shape maker...
...and squishing the play dough on his placemat...
...and tapping it with the rolling pin...
...and eating it (unfortunately).
In the video above you can see he was starting to bring the play dough up to his mouth. I had told him several times not to eat it (perhaps he was testing me?).
I had to include this last picture for today's post. I asked CJ to smile for a picture and he did so, but also squinted. If you look closely, you can also see bits of yellow play dough around his mouth. I guess there are worse things that a little boy could eat!
We've been laughing at CJ's video - passing the play dough back and forth in front of his lips - it looks like he's trying to get a little taste without you catching on to him. Great Grandma used to make play dough for Joel and the other grandkids and they loved it too. Mom B
