Winter Fun

On Sunday we went to a local park and pulled CJ around in his sled. The day was beautiful (30 degrees, sunny, and virtually no wind).


J pulled CJ down a hill and CJ said "yay!" the whole day down. The hard part for us was climbing back up the hill. I have to admit I was a bit winded...and the hill wasn't even that big! Here's a video from CJ's first sled ride.

Allie & Shelley also joined us on this beautiful day - it's great to have the aunts here too.

There were also horse sleigh rides. We didn't stand in line to go on the ride, but CJ & I got to go right up to the horses (very pretty Clydesdales) and check them out. When it was time for them to go, we had to tell the horses "bye bye." I think CJ was quite fascinated by the horses, because several times during the evening CJ would say "bye bye horse." I think we'll have to make several trips to the Zoo this year!
