New Bed

Goodbye crib! A few weeks ago CJ made the big transition from crib to full-sized mattress. He was doing great in his crib until one morning he lunged himself into the side of the crib (while standing) and fell down to the floor. This scared all of us and we figured then we had no choice but to take down the crib.

Here's a picture of the crib the week before CJ was born - it hadn't been used yet!

In this picture, CJ is about a month old. He has changed so quickly!

We went shopping for a new bed, so now he has a full-sized mattress that can also double as a guest bed if needed. Right now we just have the mattress on the floor and will eventually add the box spring. We found these cute Tigger & Pooh sheets too! CJ seems to like his new bed very well, but if he wakes up in the middle of the night, he comes right to our room to get one of us to come sleep with him in his bed. This happens a good share of the time, so hopefully soon he will get used to falling back asleep by himself!
