Inspirational Weekend

Last weekend (over a week ago) I attended the Beth Moore conference with some family & friends. It was a great time to reflect and learn. The praise team's music was so uplifting and it was fantastic to sing with a big group (there were about 4,200 people in attendance at the Dome). On Friday night we sat higher up in the Dome, but Saturday morning we were in the raised seating area 3 rows up from the main floor. We could see everything a lot better and even saw Beth Moore up close when she came out to talk with the crowd on Saturday morning.

For those of you who are not familiar with Beth Moore, she is a Christian teacher and speaker. She has developed many Bible studies (for groups and individuals) and also does several live teachings through her organization, Living Proof Ministries. Check out her website and blog:

I found Beth Moore's teaching style to be wonderful - it's a terrific mix of pulling key concepts out of Bible passages, sharing stories, and teaching in a way to make God's word come to life in present-day situations. I found the whole experience very inspirational and I am thankful that we could attend together.
