Children's Sermon

I have a sweet story to share with you from the children's sermon at church on Sunday. CJ was sitting right next to the lady leading the children's sermon. This week the candy basket was sitting right behind the leader (usually they don't bring it out until after the children't sermon is over). So part of the time, CJ wasn't paying attention very well and instead was peeking into the candy basket. Thankfully he didn't take any candy out until it was time at the end (phew!).

However, part of the time CJ was paying attention to what the children's sermon leader was saying. At one point she asked if there were special people in their lives - people they enjoyed spending time with. One boy said his friend's name and then CJ said "Grandpa & Grandma." Oh for sweet. Usually CJ doesn't talk or say much when asked a question during the children's sermon, but he did this time!

That's so cute! We're looking forward to coming up for his birthday party in just a few weeks.

    Love you!
