Bluebird Gardens CSA

We are all signed up for the 2012 Bluebird Gardens CSA! CSA stands for community supported agriculture. The Bluebird farm is near Fergus Falls, MN and not too far from our family lake cabin.

We enjoyed the produce from Bluebird tremendously last year! Actually, we are still enjoying it because we had the opportunity to take part in the harvest events and froze lots of corn, tomatoes, etc.

We have found that being part of a local CSA is incredibly rewarding. We made many family memories going to harvest events at "our farm," we ate fresh & delicious produce that was grown organically, and we supported a local farm instead of buying produce that was grown overseas. I think it was quite affordable, especially if you are able to take part in the harvest events at the farm.
We encourage you to look into a CSA in your local area. Give it a try, we are so excited for spring to arrive so we can start getting our weekly box of produce from Bluebird!
