Our little guy has turned into quite the negotiator. I suppose all toddlers do this to some extent. It seems like CJ is in a phase now where he is challenging us quite a bit and is testing the waters to see what he can get away with. Here is a funny example of this:
Joel & CJ went to G&G Bjorge's place one evening earlier this week. CJ was playing with playdoh and Joel said it was time to clean up and get ready to go home. CJ asked for a chip to eat and Joel said he could have one after picking up the playdoh. Then CJ said, "how about 2 chips?" Joel said okay. Then CJ said, "how about 4 chips?"
Yes, he's quite the negotiator!

ReplyDeleteI don't want to sound like a broken record, but CJ does remind me of his mother when she was little. Carrie was quite a negotiator too. I'm not sure, but maybe all kids are to some extent. I must say that parenting was one of the most challenging and most joyful experiences of my life. Enjoy each other, even as you parent our little negotiator. Grandma & I send our love to all of you.
