Park Views

Last Saturday, Joel, CJ & I went out to the lake to put our canoe in on the porch. The cabin is ready for the winter and we finally got out there to put our canoe inside. It will be GREAT to store it out at the cabin this year, as it's not the easiest thing to transport back & forth.

The day was a bit cool and overcast for the most part. There was a very large group of ducks out in the middle of the lake.

CJ & I played cars on the deck while Joel got everything ready.

Joel & I were kind of bummed because the sky was so overcast. We were looking forward to seeing the trees & changing leaves at Maplewood Park, which we see on the drive to the lake. As we were driving home, the sun came out! We stopped so Joel could take some pictures. This is one of our favorite spots along the drive.

Wouldn't you love to live on this farmstead? Great views of Maplewood!

This is a photo looking east - the road you see going up the hill is the way to the lake.

It doesn't seem like summer can be over (or fall either for that matter), but we will just look forward to more fun times at the lake next year!
