Chalk Drawings

Last week CJ & I made a bunch of chalk drawings while Joel was out bike riding. He's preparing for the MS150 ride (takes place the end of this month).

CJ had a lot of great ideas of things we could draw on the sidewalk - a house & flowers

Water & boats (our canoe & kayak)

Les & LeAnn's pontoon and Great-Grandpa's fishing boat

Later I had the idea to draw hopscotch blocks - CJ had never played the game before and he liked it so much that he asked me to keep drawing more & more squares. Before I knew it, I had drawn 40 hopscotch squares! CJ wanted me to keep doing more, but I cut it off there.

CJ also wanted to draw a bridge in the driveway so Daddy knew where to park the van when he got home. CJ also said we should draw a stop sign at the top of the driveway so Daddy knew where to stop.

I love hearing the ideas CJ comes up with - kids have such great imaginations!

  1. Christopher and Mommy - we loved seeing the chalk drawings! You have such good ideas of what to draw! Did Daddy see the stop sign? :) See you on Saturday at the lake! We love you all! Love, Grandpa Pete and Grandma LoAnn
