A little bribery

Over a month ago, CJ got to pick out a special toy. He was so close to being potty trained and we wanted to make sure the #2 was consistently going where it should go - so we told him that if he went #2 in the potty, he would get to have his special toy.

Right away he said he would like a guitar! The deal is if he doesn't keep his pants dry, we will take the guitar away. So far this has been working and we are very happy about this. We don't use the bribery card very often, but we thought it was well-worth it in this situation!
