Champs

Friday night we went to another Redhawks game. We went to quite a few games this year and really enjoyed it. The Redhawks were playing Kansas City for the league championship. The Redhawks had won 2 games in KC earlier that week and if they won at home on Friday, they would be the league champions. We purchased our tickets on Thursday, when the weather forecast was pretty nice for the game, but by game time it was raining and chilly. Thankfully the rain pretty much stopped (just had a few sprinkles now & then during the game) and we bundled up to stay warm.

They had $1 hot dogs during the post season games - CJ likes to eat the hot dog first (without the bun) and then the bun later

CJ was very excited about seeing Hawkeye - when he visited our section, he came over to give CJ a high 5

CJ said he wanted a picture with Hawkeye - after we asked him, Hawkeye scooped up CJ for the shot & I think CJ was really surprised!

The Redhawks won the game!!! They were league champions last year too, this is their 5th championship since the team was started in 1996. There was quite a celebration on the field after the game!
