Labor Day Weekend

Sunday we went to the lake and the guys pulled the docks & lifts out of the water. Closing up the lakeplace is a bittersweet time, but it needs to be done. It was a cool, windy day, hence all of the warm clothing.

We plan to go out to get the canoe in the water at least one more time before it gets too cold.

Meanwhile, the ladies & CJ got to be inside the toasty warm kitchen. Time for puzzles & coffee!

Later that afternoon the sun came out. CJ played hours of kick ball/soccer over the weekend and many of the family members jumped in also! (in this photo: Grandpa Pete, Kory, Brent, Joel, Keith, Shelley...Bruce, Allie & Grandma played too)

More puzzles with Ryan & Les

Sunday night we stayed at Les & LeAnn's house and then the family came over for brunch before driving back home. We had a great time talking about wedding plans (for Shelley & Kory and Reid & Kayla)!
