Our son is using the word "rather" in sentences correctly now. I'm not sure where he picked this up - I don't think Joel or I use that word very often.
Last night we went shopping at the mall and stopped at the Hallmark store to pick up a Christmas ornament for CJ. We have done this each year since he was born. When we went in there, we didn't say we were buying an ornament for him. We were just looking at the ornaments on the wall and I asked Joel if he thought something from the top row (Mickey Mouse) or the bottom row (Snoopy / Peanuts) would be better.
CJ chimed in and said "I would rather have the one with Mater and Lightning McQueen."
Okay - a Cars themed Christmas ornament it is!!
