Here are a few things CJ has been saying lately:
* Quite often I find myself saying "good grief!" when something frustrates me. CJ has picked up on this (including the voice inflection) but instead says "Oh grief!"
* This past Sunday I was the helper in CJ's Faith Factory class. We were reviewing the Christmas story from a few weeks ago and also talked about the 3 Wisemen. During large group, the leader was asking the kids if they remembered what the angel had told the shepherds. Without missing a beat, CJ piped up and said “Do not be afraid. I bring good news!” I couldn’t have had a bigger smile on my face at that moment! Every parent thinks their child is the smartest little person they’ve ever known, but I sure was a proud Mommy.
