We went to church at Ebenezer Lutheran on Sunday morning. CJ was very well-behaved during church, looking at books and coloring in his new Easter coloring books.
I have a little story from when we went up for Communion. CJ stood next to us and was looking around at everyone else. He saw that people were folding their hands, so he folded his too. Then when the Pastor came to us, she blessed CJ by saying something like "God bless you and remember that Jesus loves you." CJ looked up at the Pastor, smiled, and said "yeah." I have to admit this brought a little tear to my eye (I'm sure NO ONE is surprised at this!). Anyway, it was a memorable moment and I thought some of you would enjoy hearing that story.
We ate our main dinner around 2pm, so that gave us time to color a few Easter eggs. CJ was eager to get his hands dirty (literally) and I rained on his parade because I didn't want him to get the colored dye on G&G's carpet! Soon it was CJ's naptime, so Joel finished coloring the rest of the eggs. Check out this Detroit Tigers Easter egg - very impressive Joel! You're so creative.
Before our dinner we had time for an Easter egg hunt. It was a beautiful day, so we had part of our hunt outside.
We had a wonderful time - thanks for everything!
