Puzzle Pro

CJ is becoming quite the puzzle pro. We have 4 puzzles that he does regularly and he can work through each of them fairly quickly.

He likes to drive the car or bus from this vehicle puzzle and make a motor sound while doing it. Grandma B. gave him this fun idea when they were here to visit about a month ago!

CJ likes it even more if someone else drives a vehicle along with him...and then sometimes they crash.

CJ's teachers at daycare have commented on how well he puts puzzles together. They have a more difficult puzzle in their room with 26 different pieces - a shape representing each letter of the alphabet (apple, bus, etc.). It sounds like he has been working hard to master this puzzle, as we get notes on his daily sheet that he worked on the "difficult" puzzle.

When I picked him up at daycare recently, the teacher had a funny story to tell about this puzzle. Let me set the scene for you: CJ was on lying on his belly with his head propped up by one hand. A little girl was sitting next to him and she was working on this difficult puzzle. CJ helped her do the puzzle by pointing to the spot where each piece should go. The teacher said CJ didn't try to take the pieces or do the puzzle for this little girl - he was just a very good helper. I thought that was pretty adorable!
