We had a wonderful day together on CJ's birthday (Joel & I took the day off from work). First CJ & I made waffles together. He likes to stand on a chair next to me at the counter and help (pour ingredients into the bowl, help stir, etc.).
Allie stopped over with a little birthday treat before going to work. CJ was excited to see her!
Friday moring we went on a walk to the park just down the street from our house. CJ had a great time playing - we had the place all to ourselves! When we tell him to smile for the camera, he squints his eyes (not sure why he does this, but it's cute).

CJ went down the big slide for the first time!Swinging was fun for a little bit, but CJ wanted to go back to the slide!

We went out for lunch at Space Aliens and let CJ run around the game room. He had fun looking at all of the lights. After lunch he was ready for naptime and slept a good two hours. During this time I was looking at pictures from the day he was born and also watched a few video clips. Wow, it's amazing how CJ has changed in two years!
After naptime we went to Cold Stone for birthday ice cream. When CJ eats ice cream, he gets a funny look on his face when eating the first bites (because it's so cold). But then he gets used to the cold and wants more ice cream!
