It's Beginning...

...to look a lot like Christmas at the Bjorge house! I thought it would be fun to take a few pictures of the decorating we've done this year. Since we moved into this house we have picked out real trees for our formal living room. It's a little extra work, but it is special and there's nothing like that real evergreen tree smell!

I always enjoy bringing out the boxes with our Christmas decorations. We have quite a few ornaments and each one is unique. We have received many ornaments as gifts from family and friends throughout the years. There are also several ornaments that I made as a child and now a few that CJ has made too.

I find it very peaceful to sit in the living room with only the Christmas tree lights on. Quiet. Still. Peaceful. Just what we need during this season that is usually occupied by too much to do and not enough time to reflect about what Christmas is really about. In just over a week we will be celebrating the birth of Jesus!
