Ring Those Bells

One afternoon last week I was a bell ringer for the Salvation Army. My employer encouraged all of us to sign up and take a shift during the work day. It's a great cause and I am thankful for the opportunity to do it.

The spot I had this year was quite cushy compared to the location I was at last year. I was inside both years, but the grocery store this year was much warmer (and had a bench to sit on). Last year I was quite chilly (especially my feet), so this year I bundled up even more and wore boots. One of my co-workers bought toe warmers for all of us, so that helped too. This year I was nice and warm!

Joel stopped by on his lunch hour to take some pictures and also brought me a cup of mint hot chocolate. Allie stopped by later and had made me a cappuccino. It was great to have some visitors. Thanks again for the special treats!
