Lake Day

On Sunday we had a great outing with friends. Joel & Dan rode their bikes 50 miles in the morning and we picked them up at the site of the largest prairie chicken in the world (yes, the world!).


From there we drove to the lake, ate lunch, swam for hours, and also made s'mores. We had a terrific time and the weather was great for our lake day!








After packing up at the lake, we drove into town to see my grandparents and my Mom & Dad (who were there visiting). Grandpa made us a great summer feast for supper - kielbasa and corn on the cob. It was a wonderful day!
