Hoppin' Hoedown

Last Saturday night CJ & I went to a mother-son event called Hoppin' Hoedown. We went with two sets of friends (Jennifer & Eli and DeAnn & Joshua). We had a blast!!

I had fun picking out new clothing items for CJ's outfit - a jean jacket, plaid shirt, and brown boots. I thought he should look the part of a cowboy. :-)

The battery on my regular camera ran out part-way through the night, so I had to use my the camera on my phone, which isn't as good. Oh well, at least I got some pictures.

Joshua, CJ & Eli - big kindergarten boys!

There were fun games to play, good snacks to eat, and also music to dance to. We all had a great time!

Balancing a plastic egg on a spoon - CJ LOVED this game! I lost count of how many times he played this one. At one point he had two spoons & two eggs. (Bad photo quality here with my camera phone, but I thought it was so cute anyway!)

Craft project -

The boys wanted to do a funny face picture!

Dancing - there were more people on the dance floor toward the end of the evening too!

I had a great evening out with my cute cowboy!!
